Q: How do I get more information about leasing an apartment?

A: You may call, come into the Leasing Office, email us or submit the inquiry form found on our Contact Us page.

Q: What is included in rent?

A: Waterfront Apartments includes all utilities in the monthly rent total: gas, water, electricity, heat, trash removal, sewer, cable television, 1 GB fiber wire high-speed Internet (through Spartan Net) and air conditioning.

Q: Are pets allowed?

A: Absolutely! We require a one-time deposit for residents with pets, but there is no additional monthly fee.

Q: Are there pet restrictions?

A: Each unit may have one pet. We do not allow the following dog breeds: Doberman Pinscher, Chow-Chow, Rottweiler, German Shepard and Pit Bull.

Q: Are the apartments furnished?

A: Your stove and refrigerator are provided by Waterfront. Residents are responsible all other furnishings (such as couches, beds, lamps, etc.).

Q: Can I park anywhere?

A: You may park in any available uncovered parking spot. Covered parking is available for an additional $50 monthly fee.

Q: If I don’t have a car, what alternate transportation is available?

A: There is a CATA bus stop located at the front/north side of the property. It is stop #1697, and includes routes 01 – Downtown Lansing-Meridian Mall and 28 – Williamston-Webberville Ltd. Cabs, Uber and Lyft are also available. Moped parking is available and there are bike racks situated near all of apartments.

Q: How close to MSU are the apartments?

A: Waterfront Apartments are located on the corner of Grand River Ave. and Hagadorn Rd., a 5-minute walk from the east side of MSU’s campus, near buildings like the Music School and the Wharton Center.

Q: When is rent due?

A: Rent is due on the 1st of every month. You may pay in our Leasing Office, over the phone or by mail with no service fee. Payment is also available online for a small processing fee.

Q: Are there washer and dryers in the units?

A: We have an on-site laundry facility open to our residents 24/7. Our premium apartments with a washer and dryer installed.
